Carolsewmuch, what sort of things do you make with the dupioni? I have several lengths of same and am worried about raveling seams so have been admiring the silk only, haven't cut into it. Any ideas (other than a one-shouldered gown) will be soooo appreciated.

I'm a big fan of Issey Miyake and am struggling through the patterns he created for Vogue. When they work, they're marvelous. Love his couture creations too.

I love to sew clothing, and I've never heard of Horrocks(es). Therefore, to spread the good word, I should probably win.

Oh, dear, I haven't been here for awhile. I may not be a religious, conservative member of the establishment like Clarasita, but I've got her beat by several years in age (I'm 67). I join my voice with hers to say that this is lovely, appropriate, glamorous, and professionally presented. Anyone who is offended should probably not look at Vogue, Elle, or Project Runway either.
