I have always used Threads magazine as a resource for all my sewing needs. To have an additional year to my multiple years subscription would be "sewsensationa".

I have made a few pieces of lingerie and recently found a slip belonging to my mother. I certainly would like to replicate it and make other vintage "intimates". This book would go a long way to help in that goal.

Who wouldn't love to have Louise Cutting at their beck and call to aid in the creation of one's own fitted garment!

No matter how long one sews for self, family, home, the art of creating a three dimensional article out of a piece of fabric is in itself, inspirational. Inspiration is the driving force, but knowledge allows the creation.

That is why, adding this book to my library will, undoubtably, add to my knowledge.
