I don't remember if I answered gogojojo. The fabric is a heavy cotton woven. It was in my stash, and I don't remember where I got it. (I'm saying "I don't remember" a lot lately!!)

The embroidery that I love most is machine embroidery. I have been sewing many years, and machine embroidery revitalized my love of sewing. I make mostly garments, and a touch of embroidery certainly makes it beautiful and exciting. I admire hand embroidery, but doing anything by hand does not appeal to me--hand is a four-letter word in my sewing vocabulary!

I would like to receive Wright's automatic bias tape maker which will fold and press flat bias strips into single fold bias tape with the push of a button. I like to make my own piping and bias binding so I think this would be very handy indeed.

This bag is gorgeous. I have some pleather and appreciate your advice about using tracing paper under the foot.
