Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: "The Art of Fashion Draping" by Connie Amaden-Crawford
Threads have inspired me to return to my passion of sewing.
posted: 6:26 pm on September 5thDraping of fashionable clothes have sparked an interest in this area for me, which I've never had the experience. Now that I am home-bound due to several illnesses I would like to learn this technique very much. I would be so very happy and honored to win "The Art of Fashion Draping" by Connie Amaden-Crawford for this reason.
Thank you very much for this opportunity.
Re: Project Runway All Stars: "Finale Part 2"
I think all of them had a few that were nice. However, as a collection, I think Michael's was the best. Austin's wedding dress was very beautiful. Some of Mondo's was wearable by any young lady. But I think overall, Michael knows how to dress a woman's body. His draping is the best and figure flattering.

Awww...I love this period too. Such beautiful and opulent era. I know, as in every society and age, that there are differences in classes. However, I feel there was a fashion in both classes and like them both.

I wish I were able to attend this. Japanese kimonos and obis are so elaborate and intricate. I love the feel of their silks and the design on their traditional garments.
