Hi there, I am a 61 legal assistant that loves to craft. From sewing turbans that dry wet hair to making elaborate flower arrangements that last forever, I love to do it all. I do needlework -- crocheting, embroidery, decupoge (I can do it not spell it), candle making, sewing, gardening, cooking, etching glass, stained glass, macrame', tye dye, batiking and I am sure there are some I have forgotten.
I have been married for 38 years to a man who indulges my experimentation and we found out last year that he can cook too! I was just out of a 35 day stay in the hospital and couldn't cook. He stepped up and started cooking. Either he learned through osmosis or he was always a good cook. Of course he was a short order cook while he was in college, so we should have known.

Re: Book Giveaway - The Complete Photo Guide to Ribbon Crafts
What I could do with this book. I am always looking for something new to try and I have not done much with ribbon. My mother used to work with ribbon all the time. She made the most fund Christmas packages. It was more fun to see what she had created on the box than it was to see what was in it. There used to be a kind of ribbon that you could wet and it stuck to itself. She could do some really cool things with this ribbon. She had an instruction book that showed you how to layer it and twist it and make all sorts of pictures and shapes. I have not seen it in a long time and am not sure they even make it anymore. I am wondering if this ribbon book would have this in it. Good luck to all of you who have entered. Too bad only two people can win!
