Re: How many sewing machines do you own?
I have 4 sewing machines at home and 2 that I have given to my daughter. I have a Bernina 1530, a Bernette (a stand alone embroidery machine with a 4" field), a Bernina serger, and a small Jenome JEM to take to quilting classes. The 4" embroidery field has made me hungry for an embroidery machine with a larger sewing field. I love my 1530 and have no plans to replace it as it does everything I want it to. My daughter has a 930 Bernina that used to be mine and an industiral machine that also used to be mine. Now that I am a senior and my hands are getting arthritic, my sewing is slowly dwindling. But I still love it. JudyM

My favorite 2 spcialty feet that I cannot do without is 1. an open toe foot that I use alot with applique and also when I am doing fussy sewing and want to see exactly where the needle is going. @. The second foot I use alot is what I call a stirch in the ditch foot. It makes my quilting "in the ditch" look really great. I also use it when I am doing blind hemming.

I have sorted my threads by color and have them stored in cutlery trays that stack by 2's in the drawers of a small cabinet. Easy to see the colors andtake to the machine if necessary. I also have another cutlery tray that holds all my necessary equipment and it is near the machine on top of the cabinet. The bobbins are stored in one of the sections.

This looks as though it will be very nice for my arthritic hands. I would really enjoy winning the Simplicity Rotary Cutter.
