Re: DVD GIVEAWAY: Industry Insider Techniques with Louise Cutting Volumes 1-4
I just finished sewing a whole wedding ensemble, bodice with boning, buttons and zipper. Skirt with bustling and etc. Floofy slip and gorgeous veil.

I would like to continue making couture wedding dresses and I know this collection would really benefit me.
Re: How to Make a Precision Placket
I was wondering about different ways I might use this when I first opened it and then while copying I saw the capris. Great idea.

Wow what a cool attachment. From what I can see from the pic it looks like it is for 1/8" either stitching on the binding or the binding itself. I am not at all familiar about any of this but just wanted to add my 2 cents, :). When I was younger there were a lot of cool attachments out there. From what I have read in the previous comments I hope the trend is to get back to some of these as there is no electronic equivalent available.

I am in desperate need of some large ribbon ideas, I received a beautiful silk comforter from a friend after the dry cleaner ruined the areas where the comforter is secured through all layers I found some beautiful matching ribbon that will easily cover the area but the only patterns I have are for smaller ribbons my ribbon is about 1 1/2 inches in width. So far the only ideas I have been able to come up with are either rosettes, too small, or lengths of the ribbon sewn with the edges frayed, the comforter is burgundy and a greenish gold whereas the ribbon is greenish gold with burgundy as the weft.
