started sewing at 10 (and yes i hit my finger with a needle on the first day (but hid it from my mom) at 14 started sewing my clothes because I was too tall for the clothes in the stores. I have been sewing off and on ever since.

Also Hey abeers42! I live in Oregon (NW) also.!!! Been sewing since I was 14 and I was too tall for mini skirts!!
