Re: Giveaway: Simplicity Bias Tape Maker
Oh boy, but I do love making bias tape and this device would sure make it faster and easier to than my "fail-safe manual instructions" for making lots and lots of bias tape.
posted: 11:35 pm on September 7thI sure hope that I am the lucky winner because I need to make even more bias tape for the new aprons I am sewing for my daughter-in-law's female relatives in Japan --- they all look so cute in their aprons and I have a couple of darlings patterns that require lots and lots of bias tape to give them that beautiful finished look.
Re: Mystery Sewing Machine Foot
I'm convinced, by its appearance, that this is an "even feed foot/walking foot". This foot walks over fabric to help keep the fabric layers feeding at the same rate. When using this foot, your fabric can be sewn without shifting or puckering because the fabric is gripped and fed by both the upper and lower feed teeth. This foot is often used when quilting one layer of batting between two layers of fabric.
