Aprons, Aprons, Aprons

N is for Novice Sewer.

I’ve been thinking of making an apron for two years now.  Mom got me this wonderful book A is for Aprons by Nathalie Mornu for my birthday.  So, I dusted off my machine, found an old curtain to use for material and am making an apron for me!

After my first Sunday afternoon of sewing, I found that I have a lot to learn.  I’m sure glad I didn’t go buy new fabric!

How fabulous for you! Congratulations on trying something new! I too love aprons, never have figured out why we don't actually wear them any more. I collect antique aprons, but have tried to make a few too. Keep up the good work. Every project helps you learn, practive makes perfect!

Congratulations, I haven't sewed for many years. My son-in law gave me a sewing machine for Christmas and I thought aprons would be something to start with. I think I will try the book. Hang in there!!!!
