Japanese Style Dresses

I made these two dresses from Vogue #7894 for two sisters. On the first one, the red print, I stitched the little tie belt into the invisible zipper, which made it a bit hard to slide. So on the blue print I made it entirely separate. These little girls are the granddaughters of a dear friend who passed away when the eldest was only about a year old. She was a lovely Japanese lady and I think she would have enjoyed seeing the girls in these dresses.

Beautifully done. The love for your friend is evident in your fine work for her granddaughters.

    thanks so much!
