Little Red Queen and Edward Scissorhands

Nov 06, 2012

I created huge red queen from many different fabrics. It has a black bodice and underskirt. The bodice has a red satin piece with sewn gold ribbon strands. The skirt of the dress is red with hand sewn gold hearts with painted borders. It has a split skirt overlay in gold embroidered satin. The sleeves are black puff sleeves adorned with red ribbon sewn into stripes. The length of the sleeves are gold satin with black net overlay and red ribbon strip with black buttons. They are finished off with white eyelet lace. I also constructed the crown.

Little Edward Scissorhands is three pieces. Pleather pants, a pleather jacket and a vest. The vest was made from studded belts and the pants and jacket were also adorned with belts. The scissorhands are foam carved scissors attached to knit black gloves.
