This is the “new” Cinderella from the recent movie. i used Mccalls MP 444 and crepe back satin- satin side IN. Satin inevitably makes a costume look cheap so I never use it. The bodice is fully lined so there’s no itching. Did use satin in lining against the skin – why not? The drape/collar and overskirts are 4 layers of net in three shades to achieve an iridescent look. The drape is covered with tiny silver-edged butterflies. The overskirts are trimmed with ribbon. To add fullness to the skirt I added a hem facing and ironed on a stiff stabilizer (interfacing) I added Ribbon ties at the waist – another excellent addition for little girls so they don’t need a lot of fittings and we can get an extra year out of them. Enjoy !
