Stop Hand-Sewing Tangles

To keep thread from tangling when hand-sewing with a single strand, knot the end which was last cut from the spool. For double thread, knot each end separately.

    Another tip for keeping hand sewing thread from tangling is to run your threaded needle through a fabric softener sheet several times. The static remover from the sheet helps the thread from clinging and tangling
