Evamarie Gomez and Judith Neukam; shot by Gary Junken

Couture expert Kenneth D. King visited the Threads video studio to record the soon-to-be-released video workshop, Smart Tailoring with Kenneth D. King. While on set, we had the opportunity to discuss his must-have sewing tools and notions.

In this four-part video series, Kenneth and Threads Executive Editor Judith Neukam give you an exclusive tour of his personal sewing tool kit. He walks you through all of his essential cutting and sewing tools – some of which he customized – and he shares some tips and tricks along the way.

I cannot view the last part of Kenneth King's tool kit on my iPad...Boo! What is the problem?

Very interesting and inspiring tool kit presentation. I am unable to watch part 4, it tells me that it's not compatible with my device! Strange because I have no trouble watching the first 3 parts. I have an I Pad air. I just became an insider because I really liked part 1 and I was just too curious about the rest!

Thanks Kenneth and Judith. Very interesting lots of lovely pieces and some new information - the bag does not look that big but it must weigh a ton!

I was eagerly awaiting Part 4 after seeing the first three parts and was not disappointed. I loved all four parts and, as usual, gleaned a lot of new and interesting information from Kenneth's presentation. He is so creative. Many thanks to both Kenneth and Judy.

Patriciasew, it does weigh a lot--I'd say at least five pounds. If I hit someone with it, it would knock them down. But it does have everything I need when traveling and sewing!

Kenneth, You inspired me to have a custom shaving brush made with a Lapis handle, just so I can give it a flat top and have a chalk brush like yours. :-) It is a Christmas present to me. Thanks so much for both the inspiration and the permission to have beautiful sewing tools.
