It really is difficult -- these are all exceptional entries! I ultimately voted for skill with lace (a passion of mine), mixed with mother love, and attention to the wearer's special performance needs.
Such beautiful work. They all deserve to win, but the Tutu is elegant, impeccably constructed, and has hand work and machine work that is above and beyond in construction
I chose the tutu because of the skill level involved to create such an item. It is also quite beautiful and such an unusual item, that it truly stands out.
All are splendid! I voted for the black Violinist's gown because it's elegant and also the most wearable in real life. The tutu is spectacular, though.
VERY tough choice. I wanted to vote for all of them. Chose the handsewn Regency gown because it was handsewn. The tutu would have been my other choice, knowing how much knowledge of dance as well as sewing goes into one of these.
All of the garments are amazing and beautifully made. Congrats to everyone of you. Working with sequins is difficult. The dresses are dreamy- I love them all. The tutu is off the charts! Who wouldn't want to imagine twirling around in that little number and lifted in the air by Mikhail Baryshnikov! Thank you for sharing your talent!
Agreed, all are beautiful. All have many hours of hard work and much talent for sure. I chose the alternative wedding gown because it is unique and any time a designer makes a textile from an existing fabric, it takes it to another level for me.
It's difficult to choose just one, they're all remarkable. I did, however, vote for the ball gown because of the construction techniques and impressive attention to period detail. Jane Austen has such a broad appeal today, so many years after she actually wrote her stories, it is fun to see such complete immersion in her world.
Congratulations to each entrant and designer !!! Amazing work all ! Tutu got my vote because there's NO WAY I can even imagine creating that - absolutely FABULOUS !
All these beautifully-made custom fitted and hand sewn gowns are very beautiful. It's difficult to see the modern mini-dress in this category because it doesn't appear to be as laboriously made. However, it shows a great deal of creative thought since a directional fabric was manipulated to flow becomingly across her body and mirrored on the other side, too. That certainly isn't easy to do and I greatly admire the results.
All of the entries are worthy; however, the ballet tutu is exceptional. Good luck!
Good luck all!
It was so difficult to pick just one winner. All of the garments have merits that make them worthy.

Every entry is exceptional, but the ballet tutu has it all -- design, construction, elegance and purpose. Bravo!
Hard to pick just one.
Love the ballet tutu!!!! It is superb, wonderful!!
