Cutting Line Designs: Simplify Your Life 60813
These sporty pullover tops are semifitted through the bust, skim the hips, and end at the high hip in a curved hem. One view has a V-neckline with a button placket closure that ends with a pleat at the hemline, short dolman sleeves finished with rolled-up bias cuffs, and a patch pocket. The other view is a crewneck style featuring two-piece, set-in sleeves that close with a button placket along the left shoulder and sleeve. The sewing instructions read like a book. Every step is meticulously described down to how to hide your serger-thread ends. Our tester liked the accuracy of the instructions, and sees this pattern as a great lesson for sewing casual garments. Appropriate for light-to medium-weight, woven fabrics in an array of fibers from silk to linen, cotton, and tissue-weight wool.
(Sized XS-XL for busts 30-48 in.)
Style Tip: Use an interesting print or special buttons to personalize this fun shirt.
