Elegant lined dress: Vogue 1435
This lined dress and unlined jacket ensemble has a collar, lined yoke back, back-seam detail, flat-fell seams, shaped hemline in which the wrong side shows, narrow hem, and front button-and-loop closure. The dress has princess seams, a slit in the left front side, and an invisible zipper.
Suggested fabrics are wool crepe, tweed, linen, and ponte knit. For the lining, Vogue Patterns suggests charmeuse or China silk. This design is unsuitable for obvious diagonals.

These close-fitting pants have an elastic waistband, front guide, seam detail, edgestitching, and stitched hems.Moderate stretch fabrics should be used for these pants. Ponte, double knit with good crosswise stretch and good recovery, and stretch woven with good crosswise stretch are good choices.These pants are unsuitable for obvious diagonals.
NOTIONS: 1 5/8 yards 1 1/2-inch-wide elastic, 3/8 yard 1/4-inch-wide elastic, 1 1/2 yards 1/2-inch Steam-A-Seam, blue painter’s tape.
Light and airy blouse: Vogue 1387
This misses’ top has self-lined yokes, front pleats, a shaped hemline, and a very narrow hem. Fabrics to use include crepe de Chine, broadcloth, and charmeuse.
