The 67th prime-time Emmy Awards were televised Sunday, September 20, from Los Angeles. As hoped, the Emmy’s red-carpet fashion did not disappoint. While there were some misses (Kathryn Hahn’s Vivienne Westwood dress looked like draperies sewn together in an homage to the 1980s), beautiful gowns–like Jaimie Alexander’s multicolored, elegant Armani Prive–outnumbered the bad. In case you missed the awards show, here are some of the memorable ensembles.
What where your favorites looks? Who did you think missed the mark? Will you try to incorporate any of the designs and details on these gowns into your sewing?

what a terrific post. I am not a fan of those mermaid hems as I can imagine what they look like at the end of the evening. So many styles and colors. I think Kerry Washington nailed it. She wore it well as opposed to it wearing her. Looking forward to what others have to say.
Gorgeous shades of pink but the last row is my favourite. It's funny, but my kitchen is this shade. I even got a custom oven that is painted in this pale peach pink shadow. Looks gorgeous
Wow.. Awesome designs....love the dresses..
