Threads contributing editor and couturier Kenneth D. King has just released a DVD, Smart Sewing: Faux Fur. To help celebrate the launch of Kenneth’s latest video, we’ll be hosting an Expert Chat on November 12, 2015. Join us from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. EST for an hour-long online chat with Kenneth, who also is a Fashion of Technology Institute (FIT) instructor. During the allotted time, you’ll have the chance to ask Kenneth any questions about faux fur, fitting, tailoring, and sewing in general. 

WHEN: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. EST on November 12, 2015

WHERE: Expert Chats are on the Threads Facebook page.

    I'd like to know if there's much difference between sewing fake fur and sewing real fur. I'd like to re-purpose my mom's old mink somehow so that it will fit me and look more up-to-date.
