Sew a Travel Wardrobe

Threads #183, February/March 2016

In this article from Threads #183 (February/March 2016), Sandra Miller shares her travel wardrobe system. She writes:

I used to lug a too-heavy suitcase when I traveled, and dug through it to find garments that worked together. If you’ve done the same, then you know why I now plan and sew a versatile capsule wardrobe tailored to each journey. While on vacation, I have more fun when I know I have just what I need. When on business, I’m more confident if I have the appropriate clothing for meetings. Sewing a travel wardrobe requires a plan, but you’ll save effort and money. The up-front investment of time saves time spent fussing on the road.
