I have the same machine, thanks so much for this tip!
Great idea! We so often try to keep our machine 'pristine'. But pretty and tidy does us no good when we must waste our precious time, and it's irritating, to have to check our book constantly. I say you're right, make your property user friendly and write in the information where the manufacturer should have.

I did this too - but not all of the adjustment points that are mentioned here, so when I get home I will add those for sure. I made labels on clear tape, and they seem to be holding up well. Also, when I labeled my left and right needles and loopers, I included a number for each to indicate the threading order. That made a huge difference in my ability to quickly thread or rethread my serger. It seems as easy to thread now as my sewing machine.
