I sew a lot of doll clothes, and it can be difficult to press small seam allowances open with normal equipment. I’ve looked everywhere for a smaller ham and kept putting off making one of my own. I eventually found the perfect solution sitting in my sewing cart: my classic “tomato” pincushion. It fits into small curves perfectly. Use it to support seams as you press them on the table or ironing board.
