Quilt an Easy 8-Pocket Wall OrganizerWhip up a wall hanging to hold cards and more
Receiving cards throughout the year is a joy, but when their numbers grow, it’s a predicament to organize and display them. I’ve come up with the perfect solution—a bright, creative wall hanging. Now, I’ll be able to appreciate the decorative quilted hanging, plus be able to beautifully display anything I want to keep in view, such as greeting cards, recipe cards, inspirational images, etc.
First, choose five coordinating fabrics. With fabric in hand, use basic quilting techniques, work with fusible fleece, and play around with a bias-tape maker—some of my favorite ways to spend a day.
Cut the Fabric
Grab some tailor’s chalk and a quilt ruler. They make it so much easier to mark and cut the fabric. When you’re finished cutting, the chalk easily brushes off of the fabric.
