Hi! I am the former editor of Threads magazine, and I stay involved with the magazine and website as an occasional contributor or story editor. I have been sewing since I was a little girl. As a child, I was always working on some type of craft or art project; crochet, knitting, calligraphy, cross-stitch, rug-hooking–and of course–sewing! My mother taught me how to sew, and I made clothes right from the start. She says I insisted on dressing myself at about age 5, so my love of clothing and fashion started very early. I love to sew clothing for myself and sew gifts for my friends and family.
