Does anyone know where I can find black and white gingham check in 2 inch wide? I have found 1 inche wide, but would like the 2 inch wide.

I think http://www.marthapullen.com had it at one time. Maybe Michael's or Hobby Lobby would have it if not at a fabric store. Good luck, hope you find what you need. Mary
That size is often called "lumberjack" check or plaid; maybe a search using that term would result in more sources.

Do you have a serger? You can make your own ribbon by cutting a strip of fabric and doing a rolled edge hem on each side. I'd serge the short ends before cutting into strips. You could use rayon embroidery thread if you want a shiny look. You could make it one or double sided ribbon or even wire edged by serging over wire.
If you don't have a serger, maybe someone can do it for you. It would only take a few minutes to do. Mary
