A good source for Snap Fasteners

cbr1608 | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

I am looking for a good source to purchase decorative snap fasteners for a clothing project that I am working on.

I've bought snaps from snapsource.com. They have quite a few snaps, some w/design but not many.

Depending on your project (like if it was a dress shirt) you could sew decorative buttons to the front, with the snaps underneath.  For example (since I don't thinkI explained it well) Sew bottons to the right side of the shirt left front.  Sew snaps to the inside of the left front facing in exactly the same place as the buttons.  Sew the other half of the snap to the right side of the other front.  When you snap it together it will look like "real" buttons.
