I’ve suddenly had a senior moment – trying to send thread to cherrypops – got a bit confused about children/age etc. and i thought
Can I double check this before i say something stupid?
But i can’t!
Unless ive forgotten how – in which case – I’m definitely on the slippery slope!
You know under the headings on the left- could we have one – just to say about each other? – poss with photo? – or heaven forbid – is there one now and ive got a serious memory lapse?
I know I posted my pic under a thread heading – but of course u have to trawl through to find these after a few days?
Jan
I suppose I should send this to Editor? to get it done?

I think i understand you. Its difficult to keep track of who's who and family issues. I was pleased you remembered I had a child. So many members like to share family stuff. Yes I do remember you seeing your photo. I added mine in my initial post a long time ago.
Yes, As new posts are added the ones we have read goes down to or near the bottom, until we respond.
I will start a new post just for general chit chat, under the Gather For a Chat Thread.
I click Subscribe on all posts/topics I am interested in following so I get an email letting me know when that is updated.
I also click and apply "High" Rate of Interest - bottom of screen. It brings up a thumbs up symbol.
This allows me to not lose track of them.
In the main reading page, left hand column, under Show Discussions I click on the down arrow and then scroll down to Of High Interest. Only my favourite topics will show. Then once I have caught up with those I then read All messages with the asterick next to them. If I am interested in those I apply the High Rate of Interest again.

Sometimes I minimize the whole screen with the - mark at the top right (by the x and box symbols) to go back and reread a post I am responding to. It helps when I get interupted and forget what I was going to write.
