I want to add a wall mirror so I can see how my clothing projects fit as I am working on them.
Are the cheap ones ok or do they distort the image too much? Should I also have a freestanding one so I can maneuver it around to see the sides and back easily? I am taking the basement over for sewing so there is enough room. Thank you very much!
If this post belongs in a different forum could you please let me know where to put it.
Thank you!
Alice

I have a three-way mirror in my studio and another in my master bathroom. Three way mirrors are WONDERFUL for fitting; they were much better investments than dress forms! Sadly, my model is no longer available from Amazon, but I found some YouTube videos showing how to make a 3-way mirror from IKEA mirrors and piano hinges. Thank you so much! I will follow your advice and make myself a 3-way mirror.
Thanks for sharing your experience with three-way mirrors! It's great to hear that they have been such a useful tool for you in your studio and master bathroom. It's also helpful to know that there are alternatives available for those who may not be able to find the same model you have. The YouTube videos you mentioned sound like a great resource for anyone interested in making their own three-way mirror from IKEA mirrors and piano hinges. Thanks for passing along the details!
I was also thinking about which mirror to get, and I think a three-way mirror would be the best one. Thanks for the recommendations!
It's comforting to know that there are options for individuals who can't locate the same model you have. A three-way mirror seems ideal to https://geometrydashlite.co
I put mirrored doors on IKEA's PAX storage cabinets & hinged the doors to make a three way mirror. One of the best things I did in remodel.... storage PLUS a 3-way mirror.
