Hi, I recently purchased a dressform and the cup size is too small. I am a D cup and I was wondering how I can adjust the cup on my dressform to my size? What kind of padding or whatever do you recommend for this? Thanks for the help!

I inherited a size 8 Wolf Form when they closed the local fashion design program at the university.
I'm a size 14
To fill it out, I put one of MY bras on it and filled it with poly batting. Then I wrapped her up in quilt batting to "bulk" her up to my measurements.
She wears a lycra bodysuit in my size and if I need to adjust I add batting or move it about
Good luck
Yeah I was thinking that. I was going to buy a bra cup in my size, then fill it up with batting then pin the edges of the bra cup to the form, to keep a smooth, somewhat hard surface. Then I was going to make a body suit for the form. I was looking for other ideas i haven't thought of. Thanks a lot!!
I saw someone altering a dress form on a TV show - I think it was Sandra Betzina. She suggested putting shoulderads over the bust to increase the cup size. Good luck!

What are these?
OOOPS! I gues I should proof my posts more carefully! I meant shoulder pads. LOL.

I'm glad it was just that. I was beginning to think that I am not versed in even the simplest terms of dressmaking. Thanks
