I´m looking for measurements for a Aikido hakama, and would be glad if anyone who knew, told me where I can find measurements and such for them.

Folkwear at larkbooks.com has an (a?) hakama pattern, which may be largely a chart of measurements, since most of the garment is a pleated length of fabric. Another possibility might be to locate a martial arts supplier who could give you the measurements(I know they're out there, because my husband's hakema is hanging in the closet), or, try locating a dojo, and perhaps an owner could let you measure his. Folkwear's probably easiest, I guess.
*True, Folkwaer does have a hakama pattern, but the directions are really vague, and it is just a chart of measurements...however, I did find a for-real tissue pattern for an aikido-style hakama made by Costume Connection Inc. that was actually easy to understand and to sew. My husband is 6'7", so I had to lengthen it , but it went together pretty easily. (found the pattern at http://www.alteryears.com, but there may be other sources).
*I happened upon these today. I have no idea about quality, but there seem to be a number of different styles.http://www.patternsoftime.comLook under "Patterns" and "Ethnic Garb"They seem to be both the Costume Connection (listed as "CC") and Folk Wear (listed as "FW") Styles at good prices.
