Antique sewing machine

Becky-book | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

I have the machine of a friend to clean and research for her.  It belonged to a friend of her Grandmother so is not too sentimentally valued.  Now here is the mystery… it has “Majestic” in gold on the front and White Sewing machine corp. on a plate on the motor (also Pat. Oct 25 1927).  I can’t find anything like it on the web anywhere.  So if any of you old machine lovers can point me in the right direction, I could sure use some help on this one!!

Thanks in advance,

Becky

PS It is in a cabinet.

Try NeedleBar or the yahoo group wefixit. However, I would guess that this is a postwar Japanese machine.

Thanks, Needlebar did not have it, but wefixit provided some info. and perhaps a source for parts!
