Does anyone have any experience with the Baby Lock Allure. I have a Pfaff tipmatic 6120 that I just love, but as I get more into quilting, I want to get an embroidery/quilting machine without spending more than $1000.
I really like the features and operation of this machine but haven’t really shopped all the brands. I have not heard good things about the repairs on the Bernina machines, and the Pfaff machines which I have heard great things about are out of my price range for an embroidery machine.

The ad in the current Threads mag from Nancy's Notions on the new Babylock embroidery/sewing machine (can't remember the model and my mag is at work, but I am sure it is TOL) had me drooling. I starting thinking about all the things I could sell to come up with the price, I'm sure it will be far out of my range. I don't know whether to actually go and see one and drool over it and pine forever or just stay away. *G* I will be interested to see what everyone has to say about these machines and if they are worth the price and how they handle fashion sewing and quilting.
