Hello to all,
My name is Sharon and although I am not a new sewer it has been several years since I have done any sewing on a consistent basis.
I have a new grandson and I would like to know if anyone has a pattern or knows where I could get one for the shopping cart seats. I saw one at Costco that a customer had that someone had made for her. It covered the entire seat area so the baby couldn’t touch the cart at all.
I just bought a new sewing machine and am so excited about getting back into sewing.
Thanks for any help.
Sharon

Hi, The sewbaby.com site has a pattern for a shopping cart seat. They also have a nice kit with the buckles, etc. needed to make it.

Peg,
Thanks so much for your reply. This was my first time to visit the discussion group and I was thrilled with your reply. I have been looking for this pattern since my first grandchild seven years ago.
I just finished ordering the pattern. I didn't see anything about a kit.
Again, thanks for the information.
Sharon
Hi Sharon,
Glad to be of help! The kit is on the site -- I just looked. It's called a "cart cover notion kit". It's right next to the pattern on the site on the shower gift page. You can probably find all the buckles, etc. elsewhere, I just thought for the cheap price of $3.75 it was easier to get it from Sew Baby.
