bag lining a jacket

denise | Posted in General Sewing Info on

I have followed the directions on the site re bag lining but i am having trouble understanding the facing area. When making the lining we do not include a facing on the lining as on the main jacket.  That makes sense but how does one sew the lining in that area,  when i turn it in i have a problem getting it to sit nice and look well

Any ideas..Also i am looking for a p.j. pattern that has very very wide comfortable pants.  i think the younger generation call them sleep pants.   Would make great Christmas gifts.

Take a look at this one from Simplicity It's So Easy #9871  http://www.simplicity.com/p-2618-its-so-easy-missmen-sleepwear.aspx  There is also #3643 for plus sizes and #4039 for kids.  I use 9871 for my sewing classes.  It is a one piece leg and goes together very easily.
