Does anyone know of a source for good quality interesting bathing suit fabrics. I’m looking for 4 way stretch lycra. I am six feet tall, so buying a suit is a real problem. I live in Tucson, a large enough city, but I can’t seem to find a local source. I swim a lot so I usually make about 3 suits a year and would like to be inspired by some prints.
Now to gloat–I guess I could even swim today. Forecast is for 82 degrees.

I'm in Tucson, too. Have you tried Buttons and Bolts at Ft. Lowell and Campbell? When I was in there the other day, Joyce had several bathing suit knits and probably has more in the back. Another source might be Jazzskins on Broadway, a local costume shop.
try spandex house or lycra house in new york. both have websites and both do mail order.

I love Spandex House! Needlenook Fabrics (Wichita KS) is an excellent source. Anne, the owner, offers a wealth of information by phone and will help you shop by phone for everything you need for your suit. Don't have the # handy but you can look it up easily. I don't know anyone who hasn't been thrilled with the service and merchandise from there.
