Because Threads mag. encouraged us to “inspire” a new or young sewer…

     I decided to offer informal sewing lessons at church.

Because several teen girls wanted to make skirts….

    I printed up directions for a Gypsy skirt.

Because my grown-up daughter got a copy of the skirt directions….

    She made herself a skirt and the newest grand-daughter a matching dress.

Because she is showing an interest in sewing again…..

    I took my scrap bin (well, OK, one of my scrap bins!) to her for her to pick through.

Because her girls got excited about all the pretty colors….

   She is sewing again and the girls have two new dresses!!

So you never know where an idea will lead you, or who will be blessed by your actions!
