   I would suggest going to the Bernina website, http://www.berninausa.com if you are in the United States. You can go to their accessory page and either do a search for the foot or look through a list of all their feet.

   I do have a question though. Couching and quilting are two different things. Are you sure you are looking for a free motion couching foot? Perhaps it is the free motion quilting foot you are searching out.

   This message forum is so great. Thank you for your suggestions. There really is a free motion couching foot - but I began to think I had imagined it after searching! (I am entering those senior moment times) On the Fons and Porter demonstration you could doodle that docorative thread all over the place.The possibilities had me spinning.

   I special ordered that foot from my local bernina store about a year ago and it took about 3 months.  I took it home and found it would not fit my older (1130?) machine.  Arrrrgh.  I asked the parts rep at the Puyallup SewExpo if they were going to make the foot for older machines.  She didn't think so, but I hope she is wrong.  If you special order, make sure you ask if they fit.  I don't think they are in store stock yet.

   That really is frustrating,isn't it? Thank you for letting me know this foot (I think it is #43) does not fit all Bernina machines. (mine is a 1230) My Bernina dealer keeps relocating, so I'm not getting any call backs.I did leave message on the Bernina website - still waiting for a response. Guess we'll have to stick to the old couching way. It sure did look like fun!
