Bernina Semi-industrial machine

ledecorateur | Posted in General Discussion on

Can anyone help me?? My 97 year old grandmother is going into care and the family want to sell her Bernina semi-industrial machine.  I am not sure what model it is as she purchased it in 1976 but I think it may be the 950?? Does anyone have an idea what it may be worth? It is still in good working order though I’m not sure when it was last serviced and it hasn’t had loads of use over its life, just general sewing here and there.  I am actually thinking of purchasing it myself, not just for the history and association with my nan but because I am a crazy mad sewer!  Any feedback most gratefully received.

If you go on ebay, just type in bernina 950...there are machine listed.  See if any of those are similar to the machine in question; most on ebay are around $2,000.  Hope that info helps a bit! Good luck!

    950 Bernina

Bernina did not make a 950 in 1976.  It might me a 900 nova, regardless once you find out the model the best way to find selling prices check out e-bay
