Hi friends! I just purchased my first coverstitch machine, the Juki 1700 QVP (which I’m told is quite similar to the 1500 for most purposes). 

For those of you with this or a similar machine, I’d love to know how you accessorize it! 

1) What needles do you use for both stretch/knits and wovens? 

2) What is your favorite thread to use? I’ve head good things about Maxi-Locl (easy to find) but I have also ready about a special woolly nylon looper thread which I haven’t been able to find! 

3) Have you been able to find a binding attachment that works for the Juki? 

4) Anything else I should know about getting to use this new machine?
