I am in the holiday spirirt and am looking for easy chair (kitchen) cover patterns.  Thanks in advance for posting your comments/suggestions.

What kind of chairs and what kind of covers are you thinking of? Since there are so many different shapes and sizes of each, it's hard to find a specific pattern for them. Most of the big pattern companies have general chair cushion covers, or you could copy one purchased cover for a set of chairs.

However, I usually take an old sheet or pieces of cheap fabric, cut it into large sections, and then drape it and pin it the way I want it to fit on the actual chair. I mark the seam lines and cut it out, allowing seam allowances, and use the fabric pieces as the pattern on the quality fabric for the slipcovers. I fit the final covers on the chairs inside out, pinning any changes in the seamlines, before the final stitching.

Good morning and thank you for your comment.  I have regular wooden back chairs with a a cloth bottom.  I plan to cover the bottoms to match my Christmas theme.  Have a great Christmas season.
