Love love love these little “Clover” yo-yo maker thingies, and makers of square pleated patches..I have been beading/embellishing the little square patches, and using the smallest yo-yo maker to make sew-on shi-sha mirror patches with paillettes as the mirrors. I make them all out of iridescent two-tone nylon organza. It’s a little difficult to handle, but I persist! When I figure out the digital camera I will take pictures and post them so everyone can see them. I also tried their ‘rose” maker; very clever! (I love gadgets!)I see they now have shamrock shapes; I better get down to the local sewing store and see if they have arrived yet!

Thanks for the description of your use of these gadgets. I'd love to see photos of what you've made, and how you've used the finished pieces on garments, etc.
Thanks for your comments.
have been considering buying these........I can't resist a gadget!
the pleated ones and the roses look really cool.
Any advise one which sizes are most useful?
Louise
Well, I dunno...whatever size serves your purpose, I suppose! I wanted the little yo-yos to make little decorative sew-on "shi-sha mirror" patches; the small completed yo-yos, f'r instance, are about an inch and a half across. The small square pleated ones are maybe about 1 3/4" square. Frankly, since they aren't exactly pricy, about $7-8 each Canadian, it won't break the bank to buy ALL the sizes!
