Clip-on tie part

Elaine01 | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

Hi:  I’m new to this so I hope I’m in the right area.

I want to convert some ties into clip-on ties.  I had ordered some clipons a few years back, but can’t remember where.  You cut the tie off and then sew it onto this clip.  Does anyone know why I can order these?  Thanks

I buy clip-on ties at Goodwill (thrift store) and garage sales and use the clip for conversions. God bless you Galey

I'm not sure I've seen many clipon ties at garage sales but will look for them.  It is a good idea as since not many people like clipons, I have a good chance of getting a good deal.  Thanks, Elaine

An internet search brought up bowtie clips; would those work? You might also try a search using sewing notions necktie slips; it brought up some interesting zipper neckties, which were a topic of discussion on this forum a while back, too.
