It's an online extra to an article on understanding shawl collars by Fred Bloebaum (THREADS No. 114). I've read the whole article in the mag and thought it was really good. It's a how-to for shawl collar variations, but it won't show how to convert a notched or other collar to a shawl collar. But the diagrams and drawings look like they might be of help to you.
