Does anyone out there know how to change a collar pattern from a 2 piece collar with stand to a one piece collar with facing ?

If I'm understanding you correctly, your objective is to convert a shirt collar to what we in the trade refer to as a "regulation collar." A regulation collar is similar to a shirt collar except that it is one piece. Sometimes these collars are notched, sometimes they're not, depending on the style of the garment. McCall's M5138 shows a notched version of a one-piece regulation collar, McCall's M5049 shows an unnotched version. Is this what you mean?
