I just made a beautiful dress shirt for my husband. He is difficult to fit with over the counter dress shirts. I was really proud of myself until… When I sewed in the collar stays I winged it. The pattern I used didn’t include instructions for stays. I made the stays too long. I think I sewed them in ok, but I would like to feel better about making the next shirt. Does anyone know where I can find directions for collar stays?

David Coffin's Shirtmaking book has everything you could possibly want to know about making shirts. I highly recommend it.
And IIRC, Taunton has it on sale for 50% off. Click on the banner at the top of the page. ;-)
Thanks. I reallly appreciate the information. I ordered it right away.
