Combination machine

TrueBlew | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

Hello all,

I am have been sewing on the same machine(s) for the last twenty years.  One straight stitch and one serger.  I finally get to replace them.  What I really want is a machine that does both!  Does such a thing exist?  Please let me know because my $$ are burning a hole in my pocket and I want to go spend them before they run away!  If not, but you have suggestions for $$ well-spent please let me know that, too!  Thanks so much.

Newhome use to put out a machine that had a serger on the right side of the sewing machine, you turned the machine around to use the serger, it was only a two thread. That was about 12 years ago. I haven't seen anything that recently that is a combo like you mentioned. I would buy them seperately because they would be easier to use. Olga

Thanks.  I haven't seen that one yet.  I was on the internet--somewhere--and I saw one advertised but it was a real unknown name.  Wish I could remember what site I was at!  I know about the history files but I deleted them day before yesterday.  Darn it!  Thanks again for your input.  We'll see what happens.
