Hello!  I am looking to purchase a new sewing machine for myself.  I have always loved sewing.  My well-meaning mother purchased a rather cheap sewing machine for me three years ago and it just isn’t performing well anymore–no surprise!  I intend to use the machine for quilting, sewing through several layers of materials, 3100FS.  If you have an opinion about either of these, or any other computerized machine, I would love to hear it.  It’s a big purchase to make and, unfortunately, I do not live in an area where I can test these machines out before purchasing–I have to buy them online.
