contrast trim on swimwear

divaglam | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

Does anyone have experience with binding the edges of swimwear fabric with a contrasting strip of swimwear fabric?  I thought I might be able to do this with my adjustable bias binder pressor foot.  Any ideas?

    Hi,

I'd think this could be done as a French binding, where the first pass is binding strip and garment right sides together and the second pass is with the binding wrapped over the edge, stitch in the ditch from the right side. Use wooly nylon in the bobbin to maintain the stretch. Trin binding on inside close to stitching.
