Covered Buttons

MaizieSu | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

Looking for a professional button maker.  I know Threads had an excellent article just recently but I lost the magazine, unfortunately.  Would someone help me?  Thanks a lot.

    Hi MaizieSu:

I searched the Threads index for covered buttons, but didn't find anything.  If you enter buttons in the search box, you may be able to spot the article you are seeking in the list.

You can search the index to the index of Threads magazine, by going to "Fibre Arts" in the band across the top of the page, which takes you to the Threads Home page, or by going directly to

    http://www.taunton.com/threads/index.asp

On this page -  select the advanced search option at the top of the bar to the left of your messages, enter the term covered buttons, and you will be given previous postings which may be of help.

Also, upholstery shops will make covered buttons for you with your own fabric.

    Hope this helps,  Frances

Thank you so much for the answer...I no longer have the issue (my husband cleaned out) but perhaps I can get it at the library....thanks again.

Your husband disposed of a relatively recent issue of Threads?     I think I know what I would be disposing of next!!!  (lol)
